Our Story: Rituals Born from Resilience
The Heart of the Brand
Poppy + Lily began during a season that changed everything.
After facing significant health challenges and the loss of her sister, founder Chelsea found herself searching for stability in the middle of grief. There wasn’t a clear roadmap for healing — only the daily choice to keep moving forward.
In the quietest moments, she noticed something simple but powerful: small, intentional routines created structure when everything else felt uncertain. Making the bed. Clearing a counter. Writing a single intention for the day. These weren’t grand gestures. They were anchors.
What started as a personal practice slowly became something more intentional.
Inspired by a desire to honor her sister and support her surviving children, Olivea and Julyan, Chelsea created Poppy + Lily as a heritage brand rooted in the belief that self-care is not indulgent — it is foundational to mental health. Thoughtful products. Science-backed formulations. Rituals designed to support clarity, not clutter.
The Practice of the Sunday Routine
If Poppy + Lily provides the tools, Sunday Routine is the practice.
We believe the way you close one week shapes the way you enter the next. Sunday Routine was created as a dedicated space for that transition — a reset point between what was and what’s ahead.
This platform bridges high-quality, intentional products with the rituals that make them meaningful. It’s where science meets habit. Where structure supports softness. Where reflection becomes action.
From thoughtfully developed beauty formulas to educational blog content and guided resets, everything here is designed with the same intentionality that guided our founder’s healing process.
Sunday Routine is not about perfection.
It’s about preparation.
It’s about awareness.
It’s about starting again — every week.
A Mission Beyond the Product
This brand has always been about more than skincare or ritual.
Because our story is intertwined with loss and the realities of mental health, we are committed to giving back. Ten percent of all proceeds are directed toward initiatives focused on mental health and substance abuse support — specifically for children who have lost, or are at risk of losing, a parent due to these challenges.
We believe healing should extend beyond the individual.
When you become part of the Sunday Routine community, you’re not just creating a better week for yourself. You’re participating in something generational — a legacy of intention, care, and tangible support for the next generation.
And that matters.
